How To Generate Traffic To Your Website The Importance Of Traffic Generation

Many people marketing online tell you about leads generation, but fail to tell you a proven traffic generation.  In my opinion, they are two different things.  How do you get leads? Well for new people, who are little confused about these two you must first have a visitor to your site before you can generate lead.

Ok let’s make this simple.  You must:

  • Know how to get people to your website
  • This will turn into visitors
  • Visitors can become leads or customers
  • Leads become sales or buyers

This will definitely create constant cash flow none stop.  I believe you must go through this process in order to become successful online.

There are many ways and methods to get traffic to your website and to be successful you must use several of them.  It’s about having different strategies that work for you.  Many of these are free.  My advice to you is to develop a marketing system that will work.

Let’s talk about some of my favorite ways of getting visitors to your site.  By the way there are PAID and FREE ways to get massive traffic to any website you choose to promote.  One of my favorite is free articles submission.  You can write few articles and submit them to free articles directories.  It is free and work very well.  I have great success with this one.  My one of my articles had gotten almost ten views which will leads lots of visitors to my site.

Another method is social networking.  Did you know that free social networking sites send lots of traffic your site?  You must do it right though.  Create your profile and add valuable content within your niche and watch the like army of ants.  Also target your market, the people that promoting the same thing as you.  Invite as many friends as you can.

Now let’s talk about paid traffic.  The most popular paid traffics are google adwords, msn adcenter and yahoo search. This is where google and other search engines will display your ads in their search engines results as well as other websites.  There are so many ways my friend to get quality visitors I bet can’t handle them all. Leads generation, traffic generation prospects generation are in the palm of your hand now.

In conclusion focus on traffic generation and not more and more products and search if you want to succeed online.  You can use both free and paid to get the leads you need.

One of the best investments you can make in your business is to outsource. It should be done as a priority the moment you start earning a steady income. It will end up saving you time and energy better spent on other things.

Some people outsource to get more time to build up their business, while others do it to get more time to spend with their family. If you have been burning the midnight oil and need a break, here are a few handy tips you should keep in mind to help you get the most out of your outsourcing.

Outsourcing Tip # 1: Make An Outsourcing Budget

As soon as you start making any kind of money on the Internet, you should start budgeting some of that money towards outsourcing. It will free up your time to make more sites or do more promotion on your existing sites.

At least 10% of your income earned on the Internet should go back into employing others. This is the fastest way to get money rolling in. Besides, money has a natural flow to it; and if you start flowing money towards other people that are trying to make money on the Internet, it will be a positive karma action.

Outsourcing Tip # 2: Outsource The Worst.

Make a list of all the tasks you absolutely hate doing and tend to put off till the last minute, or not do at all.

Some people hate to write articles or are not very good at it. Maybe it takes them too much time. Other people hate to make submissions to directories or social networking sites. They find submitting to be tedious labor that just seems to go on forever. Still others don’t like doing videos, and get someone else to do them.

You can outsource any boring or monotonous task at all, so you can focus on managing moneymaking priorities in order to get your business heading to the next level.

Outsourcing Tip # 3: Outsource The Most Time-Consuming.

There are probably a few tasks that you find very difficult and time-consuming. Make a list of what tasks are consuming the majority of your time.

You may find it interesting once you start compiling this list to see how many hours you are actually devoting to one thing. Sometimes it is important to take a step back and look at your business and see exactly what you’re doing.

Some people can take five hours doing a necessary promotional task, and not even realize that it took them that long to get it done. Take stock of the actions you are taking for your business and how many hours per day or per week you are working on them. Outsource any that are taking up too many of your precious hours.

Outsourcing Tip # 4: Figure Out The Value.

The next thing you need to do is make a list of the other things that you could be doing while your other tasks are being outsourced. What could you do to make your business thrive?

Take a look at the value of what you could be doing versus the value of not doing it. If you don’t outsource, you may not have time to get this extra project done. You may be missing out on hundreds or thousands of dollars. Perhaps you need some time with your family because you have missed out on a lot by working on the Internet.

This is the actual value of outsourcing work, and it will be determined by the value of what you can get done with the extra time allotted.

Outsourcing Tip # 5: Find And Keep Capable People To Outsource To.

You need to find valuable people who you can outsource to. There is nothing more frustrating than hiring a person only to find that they cannot produce results. There are also a lot of horror stories about people not delivering what was promised and just running off with the money.

You should never hand over a major project to somebody that you have never worked with before. You should always start small and build up a trust relationship with the outsourcing person.

Even if the person you employ does not run off with your money, they may deliver substandard products that you are simply not happy with and need to get done again. This is a waste of your time and money. You need to find reliable people to work with, and they are out there.

One of the best ways to find people is to get a recommendation from others. This is not always possible because some people do not like to share their resources with others.

You can also look at freelance agencies and pick people that have good feedback. They don’t want to lose their good rating by not doing a good job, so you can hire them with some degree of confidence.

You can also look on Internet marketing forums. You can find writers, people who can do submissions, and all sorts of graphics and technical people to help you with your work.

Outsourcing should be looked at as soon as you start making money on the Internet. It is not something that should be put off because every extra moment that you can put into your business will pay off somewhere down the road.

How to Be an All Star Internet Show Off

Getting attention online doesn’t always seem like an easy task, especially when there’s so much competition all using the same marketing methods you’re using. What it takes nowadays is a little determination and the interest to be an internet show off in order to really shine and create an online presence. So what does it mean to be an internet show off?

It simply means standing out in the crowd, showing off like an all star basketball or football player. It means knowing you deserve attention, so you demand it. The next question would be how to go about accomplishing this- how can you demand attention on the Internet?

The first thing you need to do is make sure that whatever you’re showing off is interesting and exciting to see. Use pictures, lots of pictures. Have graphics and banners created specifically for your website, your persona and/or your service. Don’t make the mistake of using pre-made, generic graphics and pictures to promote yourself.

Make sure to submit your site or content on your site to websites like Digg. Be consistent and submit something new at least 4 times a week. Use other submission sites, any you can find! Visit social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter to put yourself out there, create a following and become an authority. To be an internet show off it’s imperative to pull out all the stops. Create videos and submit them on YouTube.

Create how-to articles and post them on websites like eHow. Create awesome and intriguing articles about your niche and submit them to article sites where you can create an authority as an expert in your niche. Get people to keep coming back for more by offering free advice and inspiration. Get others to refer you to their friends by providing a sense of importance.

Find somewhere new to talk about what you can offer on a daily basis. Be creative and remember that the sky is the limit. If you try something and it does’t work, don’t give up. Try something new and you’ll find what specifically works best for you.

Have you ever been curious about your competitors and check out their websites? If this isn’t the case, it’s about time you do. It doesn’t matter what kind of product you’re selling, you have competitors and it’s important to monitor what they’re doing. Try to find out if you’re selling similar products as your competitors or even exactly the same products. What makes your product different from theirs? Is your product competitively priced? How affordable or costly is your product?

Identify Your Competitors

The previous questions are just the beginning of getting to know your competitors. To be able to remain competitive, it’s important to identify competition and monitor them. Visiting their website is also important. Find out if the website is dynamic and appealing or is it uninteresting and plain. How is your website compared to theirs? What features can you learn from their website and apply to yours and make it your own?

Do some research and find out through forums, social networking sites or online blogs that your target market frequently visit, which website they mention the most. Is it your website or your competitor’s? Stay attuned to what people say about your competitor which means every praise and complaint because you can learn from their customers and even get a glimpse of what your customers say about your product.

Identify Your Competitor’s Strong and Weak Points

As you learn about your competitors, try not to focus too much on their products and prices but instead their marketing campaign as a whole. Examples of things to find out are the type of customer service they give, their terms and conditions, their privacy policy and even their return policy. Find out what you offer that they don’t in terms of customer fulfillment. Focus on what your competitors don’t have. If your company accepts credit cards and your competitor doesn’t then you can take advantage of this unique selling proposition and highlight this in your ads. Finding weak spots from your competitors is a challenge, so try to identify product offerings that they don’t have but you do or will offer in the future.

Try to find out the current offerings of your competitors that you don’t. Should you be selling similar products, identify what makes yours different? How about delivery options? Is your product more expensive or more affordable? Scrutinize everything about your competitors so you’ll know how you can make your product better and stay competitive. Keep in mind that you have a lot of competitors out there so make sure to do some market research.

Focus on coming up with ways to make things better, quicker or more affordable in terms of benefits for your customers if they stay with your product. You won’t be the number one brand or product without finding out about your competitors and their strategies which is why it’s important for market research to include research on competition. There is so much to gain from observing your competition and the great thing about it is it’s free.

One of the more costly components of marketing on the internet is traffic generation. PPC is a very effective and fast way to drive targeted traffic to your site but it can cost a good amount of money. SEO is a great means to generate ‘organic’ traffic but often times to do this right you need to pay a professional to set up your site.

When most people start marketing online they are normally contending with limited financial resources. It is a well known fact that to get a successful start online you need traffic. So how can the typical start up entrepreneur generate traffic while minimizing their business costs?  Let’s start with the free social networking sites found online and quickly narrow it down to one of the top social networking sites today; Twitter.

This mini blogging site can be a perfect source of free traffic for any business if it is used correctly.

Let’s look at 5 simple ways you can maximize the use of Twitter for your business purposes and all without spending a dime.

Look for Openings

When ‘bantering’ back and forth with other ‘tweople’ on this site participate in conversations that interest you or those in which you have something of value to offer.

Look for opportunities if available to share information about your business if it is related to the conversation.

Don’t Be Pushy

Don’t ever hijack conversations with your unwelcome ’sales pitches.’ Even when warranted share your business information ‘casually’ and always have a reference link available to share with others.

Additionally be sure to share useful information about your industry that DOES NOT directly link back to your business. Also offer this information when most appropriate and not as an apparent ‘lead in’ to a pitch from you.

Don’t ever ‘push’ your way into a conversation and start marketing what ever it is you are promoting. It won’t work and will not be appreciated however it will be remembered!

Complete Your Profile

Share some of your personal interests and have a picture if you are comfortable enough with that to post in your profile. Let people know you are real.

Transparency is the key when participating at any social site. Think about it, it is a social site therefore if you appear ‘cloaked in mystery’ or ’stand-offish’ little chance many will want to associate with you.

Now if you are however currently involved in the witness protection program or some type of espionage finding an appropriate avatar may work over the short term…

Personally if I have people who respond to me or direct message me and their personal info is ‘protected’ or ambiguous I discard them without thought. I like to know who it is I’m talking with.

Don’t Hide in DM

Direst messages on Twitter are good for those times in which the conversation is ‘truly’ private. For the most part you do want to have others see your posts even if they are not directed at them. Comments do not have to be directed at someone in order to attract them to your posts resulting in them following you. This is how you attract new followers and this is EXACTLY what you want to do.

Post Good Content

You want to supply useful or interesting content for the other participants but remember to be human. An insightful, well timed and perhaps humorous comment, if you are prone to those, will help to reinforce your ‘human’ side. Often times this will make more of an impact then the ’structured’ content that is normally the result of research.

You are at a social site so socialize!

Marketing on the internet can be very lucrative but for the typical start up entrepreneur a close eye must be kept on business costs. One of the most critical components involved in this stage of a business’s life is traffic generation. Being able to attract targeted traffic to your business site economically would significantly boost the chances of a successful start towards getting into profit quickly. As we mentioned above tapping into some of the free social networking sites can help supply you with plenty of free traffic. In particular we spoke of 5 ways to make effective use of Twitter, one of the top social networking sites online today. By using Twitter in the manner mentioned above there is no reason your business could not experience profits early on with little or no investment in traffic generation.

Email marketing is a type of advertising and sales promotion on the internet that specifically uses the medium of the internet as opposed to banner ads and other promotional material on the internet. Unlike these more familiar modes of advertising, this form of marketing can be more personal and enjoy the benefits of a captive, non-distracted audience. Social networking, on the other hand, has actually nothing to do with marketing at all. It is one of the havens of the internet, so far, that does not espouse or elicit any kind of business or transactions. Fundamentally, social networking is just a website that is an online club of people where people can catch up with their old, known friends and through the medium of common interest microsites can even make new friends. So basically, it is all about making friends.

There is a possible symbiotic relationship that can be derived here: social networking has a lot of users while marketing through email needs users. Therefore, if not symbiotic, a harmless parasitic relationship might develop in which an online marketer will leverage his or her own presence on a social networking site to get users to sign up for email marketing alerts and newsletters. This is dicey purely because the powers that be in social networking forums disallow any kind of business propositions between members. In fact, since most social networking sites have their own messaging system, they also have spam filters – ones that will blacklist a member from ever participating again if unsolicited mail is sent. So we can see that the difference between the two lies in the fact that one is a venture with purely business and revenue-based objectives in mind while the other is a pure social interaction. There are, of course, ways of making this work from a business perspective but this requires a high degree of brand recall as well as a high degree of marketing and advertising expertise.

The practice of marketing through email and social networking also lies in the aspect of choice. Social networking is all about choice: the choice to expand a network, the choice to say what you want to say, and the choice to be visible or invisible. Marketing through email, in a sense can be more intrusive, and once you sign-up for a email update, you will be sent updates till the day you unsubscribe; sometimes, you don’t even have to subscribe to get mail – a practice called spamming.

The way that email marketing and social networking should come together is by understanding and espousing trust. An email marketer can make social networking useful by creating microsites and fan pages, advertising them through the banner ads and click-of-mouse publicity of the website, and then getting more users to sign up as a natural progression. This is the age where the aggression of email marketers has to be toned down. This is the age when the email marketer will have to wait for the user to come to him or her. All promotional and user-acquisitions must now be based on this principle.

MySpace is a very popular social networking website. Millions of people visit and use MySpace everyday. Getting traffic from MySpace is a very good proposition because the traffic from social networking  sites is really a targeted one and can be converted to sales easily.

Following these simple steps you can get a lot of traffic to your website from MySpace. If you make more and more friends daily then many of them will definitely visit your website. So our purpose is to invite more and more people to become your friends.

If you can arrange to invite near about 2000 people daily then you can expect that 200 will be joining you i.e. only 10% and in one month 6000 members will become your friend and you can imagine how your website traffic will rise! What would be about your revenue! How great it is?

But, how to invite such a large number of people daily?

This is from where the trick begins:

1.  Visit MySpace make a profile of a very attractive women. Add few good pictures which looks simple but beautiful. Women get attention easily on social networking sites and get more friends. Complete the profile and enter enough information and the link about your website in your profile. Keep it remember that more friends you have, the more traffic to your website will be.

2. Visit your myspace profile and click on ‘Mail’ and then ‘Compose’, as shown in the picture below. If you have not created an email ID on myspace then it will ask you to create one. It is so simple. (After creating email ID again click on ‘Compose’ mail option. If you already have an email ID at myspace then ignore it.)

Getting traffic like thousands from MySpace MySpace Traffic Technique!

3. Now, you need to write a very very friendly email, so that people like to join you. To send email, you need thousands of email IDs. Don’t worry you are just about to get it.

4. Visit http://www.sagawebs.com and download Acute Email IDs Production Engine. This product can produce thousands of email IDs in front of you for the purpose of email marketing and for the country you want to target. Run this product on your PC and export email IDs in a text file. You can export as many email IDs as you want, but first generate only 2000 and it will take less than 5 minutes.

6. Just copy and paste these email IDs from text file to the ‘To’ field of your email page at MySpace when you have completed writing an email means we are sending email to all those email IDs.

7. Send the email and wait for few hours and after few hours when you will check your profile,  you will get amazed. A lot of people near about hundreds have become your friends and the traffic stats of your website will surprise you a lot. If you are selling a product or a service  then you can make hundreds of $$ with that amount of traffic in few days only. Check it here, how MySpace affected my traffic stats on the day I used this technique.

8. Just try this technique on daily basis for 7 Days only. There after you start getting more and more friends everyday, automatically. As you know that this is the chain reaction of a social networking website.

9. The best thing is that, you will keep on getting traffic even after few days of using this techniques because some of the people do not check emails on daily basis so whenever they will check their emails then will visit your profile and your website.

I can remember last time, when I used this technique, I got near about appx. 150 visitors same day and more than this on the coming days,  only from MySpace and I made $350 in one week selling my e-books. This technique is still unrevealed and is know to few people only!

Hope you liked it!
Thanks

Many decry the loss of community, suggesting we’ve all lost touch with each other in a world of cell phones, video games, and other electronically based distractions; in reality, though, community is more important now than ever. People still seek the security and understanding inherent in close communities. What has changed is the appearance: instead of reaching out over the fence or sitting around a table, we reach out over continents and time zones. Our “neighbors” may be a world away, but the concept of community is still strong as evidenced by the rise of social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace. Instead of being connected by geography, millions are linked by interests, profession, and other defining factors.

Social Networks Are Less Confining Than Ever

The social networking site phenomenon also extends to businesses and marketing, specifically how businesses can build their brand without selling. These sites, which have been used with tremendous success, are based on a small business model. Small businesses typically cannot afford expensive television ads and aggressive marketing campaigns. Instead, they rely on word of mouth, repeat customers, customer referrals, and the like. Custom social networking sites do much the same thing for businesses of any size and have become one of the most effective brand marketing tools in the industry.

Why Custom Social Networking?

The goal of custom SNS is to build relationships. While it is true that the ultimate goal of any business is to sell a product or service, the objective of unique social networks is to establish a relationship between customers and the brand, and even between customer and customer. In other words, the goal here is not to sell. Through a custom social network, a company appeals to the sense of community that may tie their target audience together. By taking their interests to heart and by providing a resource through which consumers may communicate, a relationship – and trust – is founded. A by-product of that trust is sales. But again, the key to efficacy is focusing on community, not selling.

Existing social networks have been used by companies, especially nonprofits, to reach out to targeted consumer bases. A nonprofit, for instance, may have a profile on a popular SNS in order to encourage volunteers, raise support for a particular cause, or raise funds. The difference is that custom SNS are built by an organization specifically for the purpose of allowing their targeted audiences to communicate. These SNS are designed for a particular organization based on key factors, such as profession, age, or shared interests. Developing a successful unique social network is predicated upon knowing your audience, being willing to know them further, and motivating them to share their thoughts, feelings, and opinions.

What do custom social networking sites allow consumers to do? It, of course, depends on the site, but they should allow individuals to post text, images, audio, video, join existing communities on the site, and create their own. They should be designed around the organization’s particular niche, and above all, should be audience-based. To do this, various options are available, including wikis, blogs, RSS feeds, polls, ratings, forums, widgets, chat, message boards, friendly interface, and much more. To develop the most user-friendly, interactive, and effective SNS, it is crucial that consumers have access to the tools they want and need. They need to both be able to take from the site and to give back to it. This is the essence of community.

The advantages of developing a custom social networking site are myriad but the key benefit is that businesses can reach out the community in a way that allows the community to reach back. A relationship is developed, and the trust that we normally see with neighborhood mom and pops can be built by Fortune 500 companies or small start-ups.

The concept of community is fundamentally unchanged. We still search for connections – though those connections may be thousands of miles away.
