Some of the tricks to getting accepted into cost per action networks

July 3rd, 2009

Getting accepted into the some CPA networks is something that may cause most marketers to become very frustrated. That is due and are used to the automatic acceptance system that comes from most of the old affiliate marketing networks.

CPA networks are more selective because they want to have a higher quality marketer promoting there products.

Still, if you can get accepted into the networks!

You’ll want to follow some or most of the strategies below if you get into the networks so you can start making good money from the cost per action offers as soon as possible.

if your lucky enough to be accepted into the networks, you’ll find that it would be a complete new way of living for you.

The first thing you need to do is select a very large list of the cost per action networks you want to join. That’s right — you’re going to join quite a few more than just one. That is because there are more likely to be a wide variety of offers, you want to choose from, on all the different networks out there. Something that is available on one network could or may not be available on another network.

Also, you should also pay very close attention to the offers that are available in more than one network. That’s because the payout and and benefits offered maybe not always the same! You might find that the exact same offer pays quite a lot more on a different network.

After you have determined which networks you want to apply to, go and find their application form.

These cost per action networks, at first might seem to the outsider as though it is a closed shop for most newbies, but if you think that you have all of the right credentials to be able to promote and sell the cost per action networks offers, which the cpa networks are offering, and if you are strong enough to some how ignore a high degree of the brick walls that are placed in front of you along the way, by that I mean the registering procedures,

They will or could likely ask you quite a few questions, such as how you are intending promote their offers, other questions could be where your main website is which you intend to promote their offers from, how much traffic you generally receive over a given time scale, and other questions at their discretion.

These questions may or can be intimidating if you are new to the cost per action networks,

so just try and answer the questions to the best of your ability, and as honest as you can and know that this is not the be-all end-all.

Send the application back, and be prepared to wait up to a week or more to hear something back. Alternatively, you can just go ahead and call the cost per action network to try to gain acceptance right away.

Calling could be the magic answer in many circumstances. If you are going to take the time to call them on the phone and discuss things over the phone, the managers might see that you maybe quite serious about this. You might often get accepted right on the spot!

You might find that Some cost per action networks can be a lot more demanding of you perhaps to get accepted into their network.

When this happens to you, you might want to explain more into depth your marketing plan which you have developed to promote their offers.

Often laying out a solid business plan will help get you accepted!

As a last resort, you could contact a successful cost per action marketer so they could put in a good word for you. It may never come to this usually, but it never hurts to have these kind of contacts on your side, so you can make use of them if necessary.

If you have been turned down and are not able to get into a certain cost per action network right now,

and you have tried everything to persuade them to accept you, you’ll just have to concentrate on the cost per action networks you have been accepted into. You can always reapply another day, once you have more experience under your belt.

They definitely will not turn down someone who they know is quite able to get results for themselves all you have to do is prove yourself to the given company! Remember — the cost per action networks are there to make money, so if you are able to help them make even more money they would have no reason NOT to accept you.

Cost Per Action or CPA (sometimes known as Pay Per Action or PPA) is an online advertising pricing model, where the advertiser pays for each specified action (a purchase, a form submission, and so on) linked to the advertisement. Cost Per Action (CPA) also sometimes referred to as PPA (Pay Per Action) is an online action based pricing model where the advertisers on the internet need to pay only in case a certain degree of marketing objectives are fulfilled.

A related term, eCPA or Effective Cost Per Action, is used to measure the effectiveness of advertising inventory purchased (by the advertiser) via a CPC, CPI, or CPT basis. Whether you’re a publisher choosing to offer CPA (cost per action) pricing, are responding reluctantly to advertiser demands, or selling on any sort of CPA program, you need some guidelines about how to charge and how to allocate the risk.

Network

According to Jackson, Google plans to launch a second “Content Referral” ad network to distribute the cost-per-action ads, so they will not compete for placement with its existing contextually targeted ads. Many advertising networks display graphical or text-only ads that correspond to the keywords of an Internet search or to the content of the page on which the ad is shown.

Cost per action (CPA), unlike pay per click (PPC) when the advertiser pays per click, with cost per action the advertiser pays per action.

Advertisers

Advertisers who are committed to a longer-term relationship will be willing to work with you, to adjust agreements as data is gathered. In CPL campaigns, advertisers pay for an interested lead (hence, Cost Per Lead) ý i.

Advertisers spend big bucks on TV so itýs only natural that they have a way to track their marketing campaigns.

I will be very interested to see how they manage to police the network though, since affiliate networks have a lot of fraud seeing as the payouts are often very high.

Cost per action (CPA), unlike pay per click (PPC) when the advertiser pays per click, with cost per action the advertiser pays per action.

CPA networks closely guard and nurture their affiliates, especially the top-producing ones, and are much more likely to put a great offer to top affiliates to ensure it gets picked up.

CPA networks provide an alternative to paying for ads upfront and are great options for marketers who are starting out with little funds to contribute to advertising efforts.

Traffic Exchange Revealed

July 3rd, 2009

Traffic exchange is a website that has a program providing a service for online entrepreneurs or webmasters; specifically an avenue to exchange traffic following a certain system. The traffic exchange system has a membership program, and involves submission of different web sites or web pages the members desire to send traffic to.

Upon joining, members are asked to add their site URLs, or the URLs of the web pages that they want to bring traffic to. The members will then need to view the sites of the other members within the program. Every member gains credits for every site viewed. These credits represent the number of traffic that will be sent to the added sites.

As a member continuously surfs on different sites within traffic exchange, he or she adds traffic to those sites and gains more and more credits that also means directing more and more traffic to his or her nominated sites or web pages. This is how the system basically works.

Most traffic exchanges have free and paid memberships. Members joining for free usually gain 0.25 up to 0.5 credits pare page or site viewed, depending on the program. Earning one credit means that the site owned by the person who gained it will have one view or one generated traffic. This fraction of credits earned is most popularly known as the credit ratio. This ranges from 2:1 up to 5:1 for free memberships. This means that the member gets 1 credit for every 2 sites viewed, or the member gets 1 credit for every 5 pages or sites viewed; depending on the program. When members browse more sites or pages within the program, they surely get more traffic directed to their sites.

On the other hand, traffic exchange programs have minimum timeframe in viewing sites. This ranges from 10 seconds to 30 seconds. There are even some who have it up to one minute. This minimum timeframe marks the least amount of time allotted to a site being viewed. The member viewing the site will only be allowed to go to the next site or page after the timer runs out.

Furthermore, free membership already offers a lot of benefits. Aside from bringing traffic to sites, traffic exchange is also an avenue to capture leads, be updated with the latest in the competition, and make the page familiar to potential customers. However, a member will only make the most out of the benefits he or she can get from the program when enough time and effort will be given to it.

Traffic exchange is a very powerful marketing tool. Just like any other, it needs attention, time, effort, and a lot of planning until one has formulated a proper strategy. There are a lot of online instructional materials and forums where one can learn most of the things about how the system works, but having the first hand experience is a lot better. Joining through a free membership is a very good way to start. Traffic exchange will not only bring traffic to the site but will also help in pushing the online business towards success.

Internet Income… Affiliate Marketer or a Business Opportunity Seeker?

July 1st, 2009

There are a lot of people who, when they become interested in making money online, turn to Affiliate Marketing. This is not surprising as it can be a fairly easy entry into Internet income; at least it seems so at first. In going the Affiliate Marketer route, there is no need to have your own product and, in some cases, you can even get by without a web site. There are some affiliate programs that actually provide each of their affiliates with their own replicated web site to sell the products or services. Others running affiliate programs have sales pages that the marketer can send potential customers to. The mechanism, like email, for sending the prospect is encoded with the affiliate marketer’s unique affiliate ID number so that the proper marketer gets credit for the sale and receives the resultant commission.

A high percentage of people who begin affiliate marketing don’t make enough money to continue in it very long. Often, they end up spending more of their own money advertising and promoting affiliate products and/or services then they actually make. This is truly unfortunate because a lot of these people are already in a precarious financial position and that is the reason they are looking to make some money online. They get so excited about promoting and hopefully selling someone’s product or service that they don’t do adequate investigation before getting involved.

Selling anything on the Internet is normally a very difficult proposition. Anyone considering affiliate marketing should take a serious look at that term “Affiliate Marketing.” Sometimes they are referred to a “Affiliate Programs” or something like that. Trust me on this, the most important word in Affiliate Marketing is Marketing. Even if it does not appear in the phrase, it is the key word. If people don’t know immediately that they are in the marketing business, not the affiliate business, they are destined to fail. It is all about marketing. If you are not into marketing you should not be in Affiliate Programs.

People considering any type of Internet business must be very, very careful. We live in an age where there are a lot of charlatans and unscrupulous people on the internet who are preying on the “newbies” (those new to Internet Marketing). Once one starts looking for an appropriate online business the liars and scam artists seem to come out of the woodwork and have but one goal… to separate you from your money. You have probably seen some of the hype: Make $40,000 by noon tomorrow; Do nothing and make $500 an hour; How I made $1,000,000 in three months. There is no end to these claims, but I can tell you, except in very rare instances they are lies. Think about it for a minute… If I really had a way to make $150,000 per month, would I share it with anyone for $47.00? Not unless it is all of those $47.00 payments that makes me the $150,000. But then, after you pay the $47.00 how will you make that kind of money? You won’t.

Please understand, there ARE legitimate opportunities out there. But it seems to me the crooks outnumber the honest businesses about 10 to 1. So be careful.

If you want to go the business opportunity route instead of (or along with) the Affiliate Marketing I suggest you start small. Keep your required up front investment small enough that if you lose it all it won’t hurt much. Make sure you are comfortable with the program and you can see yourself promoting it. Once you are in, remember it’s all MARKETING!

How A Beginner Could Choose a Suitable Affiliate Program To Kick Start Online Home Business

June 30th, 2009

Copyright © Sung-Liang Woon (John Woon) http://www.johnwoon.com

If you are new to online business, like I used to be, the fastest way  to start your Internet online business is by becoming an affiliate to sell some one else’s products because it allows you to make money from your website visitors without having to worry about shipping and payment processing.

The products from the affiliate owners are usually information products such as electronic books (eBook) and software that can be delivered as a file that is then downloaded directly to your customers’ computers. They could be repeatedly reproduced and downloaded and sold at no cost. There’s no packing, shipping and delivery cost.

The question you’ve to ask yourself is how can you determine which of the thousands of affiliate programs available in the Internet is suitable?

Many beginners encountered disappointment and frustration after signing up with some affiliate programs only to find out later that they eventually end up having brought in very little money if any, after wasting a lot of time and effort.

Hence the choice of affiliate programs is of utmost importance.

The most important criteria you should look for are:

1) They must offer products that the market is asking for or that are already in demand i.e. the low hanging fruit type of products, rather than creating new ideas hoping that the consumers would be convinced to buy.

2) The affiliate program must offer good commission to their affiliates. Although different people define “good” differently, generally if it could bring in about

$ 500/month as a start, it would be something worth looking into. As mentioned, affiliate programs offer high commission for their information products such as e-books and software. The owners of these affiliate programs can afford to give large commissions (50% or more) because of low cost of “production”.

3) It must be easy to set up with step by step easy to follow instruction. And the website should be simple and yet attractive.

4) They should provide you with banners, images, links, sample ads and articles and emails to help you promote their products. Besides, they should also have a good support system for helping you with any problems you might have.

Do not be satisfied only by the above mentioned points. You should conduct further research to check on the background of the organisations behind the products, their quality, reliability and reputation. Wherever applicable, testimonials must be obtained and verified.

Study the affiliate agreement and assess the organisations you’re dealing with. Check their quality of service by sending them an email or calling them to see how quickly and how effectively they respond – or if they ever respond at all. Assess their affiliate products. If you yourself are not convinced by the quality and effectiveness of the products, drop it and move on to another program.

There are sites which review, compare and recommend some great affiliate programs. You should be able to find some programs with the right categories of products to sell.

Like most search engines, visitors love content of our websites. Content is one of the most important aspects of attracting potential prospects to your web sites and prompting them to become customers based on the “AIDA” logic i.e. Attention, Intention, Desire and Action.

As far as possible, choose affiliate programs which relate to what you are already doing, and then promote those products.

Join relevant online discussion forums and seek information and advice from those who are already successful being an affiliate.

Once you’ve decided, draft a simple business plan, set target of your goals, budget your expenditure, follow the instructions given, be fully committed and go for it!

See you in the Web. Start taking your first step tonight in your pyjamas! Good luck!

First things first. If you are still having a hard time trying to figure out how to open up your e-mails let alone reply to them you have no need to feel as though this is not for you. The main thing is that you must have a desire to learn and an internet connection and you will be good to go. From there you are just gonna need a hand to hold to help you take your first few steps.

Most people know what they need to accomplish it is the “getting there” that they are clueless about.

So, let me make it really simple for ya.  Have you ever heard of the Bum Marketing Method?  It’s the phrase coined by Travis Sago, an internet marketer that has found success, and his thinking is that anybody (even a bum with not a dime to his name) can walk up to a computer and start making money.
